We are a small core team, led by Nick Kind, who also owns the business. We work a lot with a large and trusted network of freelancers, some of whom have been working with us since the business started in 1999.
Nick has a particular interest and speciality in publishing, education and e-learning, having worked with and for a number of educational organisations and publishing companies. However, he has also worked with organisations in areas ranging from defence and intelligence to healthcare and construction.
Nick's core skill is in successfully managing the interfaces (and sometimes compromises) between the creative, technical, editorial, business and people aspects of a project to ensure it gets delivered on time and to budget. He is an expert in content management and its associated technologies and operational issues, the use of ICT in learning, and in the entire lifecycle of online businesses and services - from market research, business modelling and planning to technology upgrades and ongoing operations. He undertakes work from half-day strategic consultancy to working as Executive Producer on projects with million-pound budgets.
